In this seminar Allan Davis will be joined by Jamie Anderson & Michael Rogers, to talk about and discuss the pathway to high performance as a masters athlete/social cyclists.

Goal setting and motivation
Balancing work-life pressures
Understanding strengths and weaknesses
Forging an effective coaching relationship
Developing a pragmatic training plan
Managing fitness, fatigue and form
Dealing with setbacks
Avoiding injury and over-training
Developing race craft, tactical wisdom & much more

The session will be highly interactive, and participants will have the opportunity to schedule individual consultations with Allan, Jamie and Michael.

Who should attend?
The seminar is designed for aspiring sports people and passionate cyclists of all ages & genders. This will be especially relevant for master cyclists/social cyclists over the age of 30 who are balancing their passion for sport with other work and life pressures. The content will be relevant to all level of athletes - from the individual who would simply like to improve fitness or ride their first Granfondo, through to those who aspire to compete at the highest level.

About the Facilitators
Jamie Anderson is an academic, speaker, author and cyclist who returned to competition at the age of forty. Recognised as one of Europe's best elite amateur Masters Cyclists, Jamie has accrued race podiums at one-day and multi-day international events, including the World Masters Games, Cape Town Cycle Classic, Tour of Good Hope, Tour of Cyprus, Tour of Norway and the Giro Sardinia.

Michael Rogers is currently working for the professional world tour cycling team NTT as an assistant performance manager. Michael also had a successful professional cycling career from the years 2001-2016. Some of Michaels victories include three world time-trial championships, grand tour victories in the Giro d Italia & Tour De France.
